The Checkered Lobster started with a few lobster traps, an old (very loved) 15-foot Whaler, and a whole lot of excitement. One summer, my family decided to drop a few traps into Scituate Harbor, and to our surprise, we kept pulling up lobster after lobster. Those days on the water quickly became some of our favorite family memories.

The Checkered Lobster is inspired by those moments—the joy of being outside, salty hair, sunrises and sunsets, starry nights, time with the people you love, and sharing a great meal at the end of the day. It's a celebration of slowing down and appreciating the simple things that make life so good.
